LUKA JOVIC COULD BE THE BEST BIG THING FROM SERBIA.

Luka Jovic young career has been one of several twists and turns. After the hype generated when he made his debut for the Red Star Belgrade team at the age of 17, his progress seemed to stagnate. After moving to three different clubs he appears to have found his footing at Eintracht Frankfurt.

He became the youngest forward to score 5 goals in the Bundesliga in the 7-1 demolition of Fortuna Dusseldorf in October. This put him among greats such as Robert Lewan dowski in netting five goals in a single game.

The next question among fans is whether he is the next great striker to emerge from Serbia. Fulham star Aleksandar Mitrovic is considered the best Serbian striker currently but his temperament and attitude has seen the hype surrounding him go down in recent years.

Jovic is seen as a player with better potentials and has been sensational for Frankfurt this season. he has struck a good understanding with teammate Ante Rebic and scored 17 goals and 4 assists in all competitions

It is no surprise that several European clubs are keeping tabs on the 21-year-old prodigy and he could be in for a big transfer in the summer. Strong in the air and capable of scoring with both foots  Jovic is the perfect number 9 as he is a complete forward.

He has shown his capacity to link up play excellently and also his ability to press opposition defences high up the field. The Serbian ace is also a threat on the counter due to his pace and has proven to be a nightmare for defenders to mark this season.

The forward on loan from Benfica will be looking to continue his good form until the end of the season and has the potential to surpass Serbian legend Predrag Mijatovic. Mijatovic played for Spanish giants Real Madrid and Valencia and scored 95 goals during his time in Spain.

Only time will tell if Joviccan take the next step into establishing himself as a world-class performer
