The Serbian national team manager Sinisa Mihajlovic has said that he is extremely fearful about the punishment that the national team will receive if they are found guilty of racial abuse a very harsh manner in the match against England under 21 recently.

Serbia have been having a lot of issues with the crowd trouble, which has nowadays escalated into racist trouble. Following the end of the match with England under 21 side, there was a lot of racist trouble from the crowd. One of the most high-profile incidents involving the Serbian crowds happened back in 2010 when the match had to be suspended for 7 min due to crowd trouble.

Sinisa Mihajlovic has said that the problem is extremely severe and the national team could face a lot of issues as a result of it. He has said that the English are much better and bigger team when compared with Serbia, and they are likely to get results in their favour. The future of Sinisa Mihajlovic has also been in doubt because of the fact that results have not been good in the World Cup qualifying up until now. The team has had only one victory, while they have suffered back-to-back losses in recent matches.

“That is a much more serious problem than we can imagine. Frankly, I’m not an optimist on this matter. The big fish always eats the small fish and the English are bigger than us. We didn’t need what happened in Krusevac, like the managers fighting on the pitch. They had to pull the kids apart. It’s a difficult situation. I don’t expect anything good. It can all have a bad effect on the senior team,” said the Serbian manager. Mihajlovic has already said that he is expecting better performances from players like Branislav Ivanovic.
