FA are set to withdraw certain delegates from the Serbian Olympic Committee. Top sport in Serbia could enter a serious crisis should certain Serbian Football Association officials’ intentions come to fruition, as they are advocating for a complete break off in the relationship with the Serbian Olympic Committee. The reason behind the proposal is the criticism and accusations SOC president Vlade Divac has directed at FA officials, while the initiative is to be started during Thursday’s meeting of the FA Executive Committee. Some have suggested that officials were making free bets on the denouement of the committee.

One of the proposals that has surfaced is to have the Serbian football governing body’s representatives withdrawn from the Olympic Committee’s General Assembly. The relationship between the two parties had deteriorated after Divac’s criticism directed at FA chairman Tomislav Karadzic and further allegations that the Serbian Superliga championship this season does not meet regulation standards, and also that there were “no men of morality” with whom Divac could cooperate.
