Serbia senior coach Vladimir Petrovic will be a keen spectator at the UEFA European Under-17 Championship in his homeland from Tuesday and the former Yugoslavia midfielder only wishes he could have had such an opportunity.

Petrovic helped make the finals draw in Belgrade, matching his nation with Denmark, France and holders England. It is the first such competition organised by the Football Association of Serbia (FSS) and Petrovic is delighted it is beginning.

Serbian National Team have fired Vladimir Petrovic Pizhon is the new head coach of the Serbian National football team. The Football Federation unanimously decided to fire Radomir Antic.

As primary reasons for the firing were his salary of 100,000 euros/month, Serbia's weak start in the Euro 2012 qualifying as well as the last place in the group stages in South Africa. Antic was also punished by FIFA, forbidding him to coach the national team for four matches.
